New developer, new site, and a new year

As we enter in to 2019, we wanted to start the year out strong. At the top of our new year’s resolutions, we wanted to finally expand our development team beyond the two-man band it has been, and into a robust lean-mean-fighting-machine team. Since our last new blog, we have expanded the team by two new developers, Khris and Thomas. Khris hails from the upper midwest of the U.S., and Thomas is joining the team all the way from Germany. Both additions come with years of experience working as developers, and within Unity. Between the two of them, they have some big chops that we’re excited to leverage in the months ahead.

Next on our list of new year’s resolutions was to [finally] get some of the language out in the ether about Zy Universe updated. For those of you that have been with us since the beginning, you might recall that Zy Universe started as a vision for a story-based RPG. We deviated slightly from that vision in late 2017 as we decided to focus on the PvP game play of Zy Universe as a standalone module of the RPG. With the transition, though, we left a lot of impressions out in the ether that Zy Universe was still an RPG. Someday it will be, but for now, we wanted to set the record straight. So, we have updated ZyUniverse.com and other sources around the internet to better reflect what the game actually is.

Thanks for sticking with us, and Happy New Years!
